The Berger Health Foundation is unique to most other hospital foundations, in that it
actively seeks the participation of the community at large
through its membership program. Foundation members have a voice in the direction and activities
of the Foundation.
Berger Health System believes that it has a responsibility not only to provide the best healthcare
services available to the community, but to listen carefully to the voice of that community to
ensure our goals are properly aligned. Only by creating this important partnership of provider
and community can we truly serve our customers and make a meaningful contribution to our
immediate and future health needs.
Membership in the Foundation starts at $100 per year. We also encourage additional gifts, either
to the General Excellence Fund or a specific cause or program, and hope you will attend several
of our events throughout the year. Membership is based on a calendar year; however, the first
year you join us, we request a full year membership fee ($100), with the second year dues being
prorated according to your first renewal date. Future annual memberships are then billed on a
calendar year basis.
