Circle of Caring Golf Tournament Set for August 16
Circleville, OH – July 29, 2008 – The 9th Annual Circle of Caring~Faith in Action golf tournament is scheduled for August 16 at Cooks Creek Golf Club.
Citizen’s Bank is once again the major corporate sponsor for the tournament, with Morgan Stanley sponsoring the dinner.
Tournament registration will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 2 p.m. Prizes will be awarded during the dinner following the outing. The Traveling Trophy,
which is awarded to the winning church team, is being sponsored by Art Goodwin and will be presented during the awards ceremony.
The cost is $300 per foursome. For further information or to register a team, call 474-7844 or 474-8371.
Proceeds from the event support the interfaith volunteer caregiver program which addresses the unmet needs of the frail, elderly and disabled members of our community.
Community members can call Circle of Caring~Faith in Action for assistance with transportation, yard work, friendly visiting and phoning, light housekeeping, handyman
chores, respite care, and ramps.
Circle of Caring~Faith in Action is coordinated by Berger Health System with support from the United Way of Pickaway County. All funds contributed to Circle of Caring
are received and administered by Berger Health Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
