Letter from the Executive Director

Welcome to the Berger Health Foundation Website!
Hello from the desk of the Executive Director. Thank you for visiting our website.  I know you will find our site interesting and informative.
We can look back at 2011 realizing that Berger Health Foundation had many successes:

  • Our second annual employee giving campaign, guided by an employee campaign steering committee, raised over $33,000, surpassing our goal of $30,000.
  • The Free Clinic of Pickaway County celebrated its one-year anniversary as a program of the Foundation and serves uninsured, low income residents of Pickaway County.
  • Digital Mammography was the main fundraising project in 2010-2011.  We purchased our second unit in 2011 and Berger Health System now has the latest in digital mammography technology throughout its system.
  • The Foundation agreed to fund a suicicde awareness and intervention training program for Berger employees and the community at large.
  • We had one of our best fundraising years ever in 2011 and this included fundraising totals for two of our major programs - Berger Hospice and Circle of Caring.

We are also looking forward to a productive 2012 with many more successes.
