Donor Recognition


For decades, charitable gifts have touched the lives of patients at Berger Hospital.  We show our gratitude to the benefactors who have helped us develop, promote and enhance the facilities and programs at Berger through recognition on Berger's donor wall.

donor wall edited for websiteBerger Health Foundation (BHF) values every supporter.  You make our mission possible, our goals reachable and you help improve people's lives everyday.  Each giving society is designed to thank you and recognize your generosity.  BHF has segmented the giving societies in three ways:  annual, cumulative and planned giving.  When you become a member of any society, you strengthen and enhance health care services in our area.

Planned Giving Recognition

Named in honor of the founder and first donor to Berger Hospital, the Franklin P. Berger Heritage Society recognizes all planned gift commitments, including bequests, trust, gift annuities, life insurance, regardless of amount.


Annual Giving Recognition

Named in reference and in honor of the year in which Berger Hospital opened for business, the 1930 Annual Giving Society recognizes individuals, corporations, foundations and services clubs making annual contributions at the following levels:

  • Benefactors ($4,000 or greater)
  • Champions ($3,000 to $3,999)
  • Leaders ($2,000 to $2,999)
  • Fellows ($1,000 to $1,999)
  • Friends ($250 to $999)

*Annual giving is for the most recent fiscal year and does not include special events, planned gifts or specific campaign donations*

Cumulative Giving Recognition

Named in reference to the county-wide service area and reach of Berger Health System, the Pickaway Visionary Society recognizes all donors making cumulative gifts at the following levels:

  • Platinum ($500,000 or more)
  • Diamond ($250,000 to $499,999)
  • Gold ($100,000 to $249,000)
  • Emerald ($50,000 to $99,999)
  • Silver ($25,000 to $49,999)
  • Ruby ($10,000 to $24,999)
  • Bronze ($5,000 to $9,999)

*Cumulative giving levels are based on giving from 2004 onward and do not include special events or in-kind gifts*
