Halm Announced as Executive Director of Berger Health Foundation
Circleville, Ohio – October 8, 2009 – Larry Halm was recently selected to serve as the Executive Director of the Berger Health Foundation. In this role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support Berger Health System’s mission to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient healthcare services for all residents of Pickaway County.
“We are excited about the energy and experience Larry brings to the Foundation,” said Larry Elliott, Foundation President. “I believe he and his wife, Lisa, will be an excellent fit for our community.”
“He will provide valuable insight to the organization as we move to expand and develop our fundraising strategies and opportunities,” Elliott added.
Halm brings 12 years of experience in fundraising and development to the Foundation. Most recently, he was the Director of Major Gifts at Akron Children’s Hospital where he successfully implemented strategies that increased major gifts and planned giving, as well as employee and board participation.
Halm has his MBA from Youngstown State University and is a certified fundraising executive from the National Society of Fundraising Executives.
Halm is an Ohio native. He and his wife recently moved to Circleville from Alliance, Ohio.
